Today, I asked God : How can I console myself when life is not going on as I would like it to be, when I am not satisfied with my life?
God replied : Look from my point of view. You are my child, a part of me. All the life that you are living is just a act or role that you are playing for a temporary period. The fact remains that in your original self, you are my child. So, why are you worried what happens in the play or drama or what is the plot of the drama? Its not necessary that you would have to love each and every story that you appear in. It is just a drama, when it ends, all are going to go back to their homes and you re going to come back to your home i.e. to me.
I understood, smiled and then again another worldly confusion struck my mind.
And I asked : But, what should I do when I don't like my role in the play?
God looked from my point of view and understood what I was asking.
So, he explained me with great love : See Child, The role you are playing is not chosen by you. You are chosen for the role because your father(ME) thinks that you can play that particular role in its best form. The role may be small and not so prominent. And, sometimes, you won't like your role and would want a more important role in the play. At that time, remember that each day you live is a small part of the play. When you play your role of one day with great passion, God might notice your capability and might actually promote you with a more important role. It may not happen in one day because God needs to observe your capacity and passion for a period of time that would make him put his trust in you for a better role. In that case, just keep acting passionately and keep giving your best in the role that you are given. As soon as God gains his trust in you for a better or more important role, he will give that to you.
I smiled with admiration and thanked him for explaining me this difficult question with such clarity. And I promised, that I am definitely going to give my best today. But then I thought, what if I forget this deep concept in few days. So, I found a solution to it - Writing it down. Now, whenever I am not satisfied with my life, I am gonna read this with the same realization that I had today morning. And, I am going to be satisfied and happy. :)
